Old traditional-style in-ground lifts were installed with the rear piston unprotected in the ground, and the front piston located in a concrete vault/pit. The Rotary Lift Retrofit 60 can be installed in the existing vault. This housing protects the piston from the two biggest enemies of hydraulic cylinders: corrosion and electrolysis. The Retrofit 60 can lift up to 60,000 pounds.
